Respiratory Therapist – Pediatrics / NICU (RRT)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a Level 4 NICU and Pediatric Cardiac unit
• Deliver care to pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient populations in a high-acuity teaching hospital environment
• Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
• Document clinical care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
• May float within scope of practice to meet unit needs depending on experience
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification through NBRC
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license — must be in hand at time of start
• Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Demonstrated experience with pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Background in pediatric cardiac or high-acuity NICU settings
