Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Telemetry Spine unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Ensure patient and family education related to spine care, recovery, and discharge planning

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a Med/Telemetry or similar acute care setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to interpret and respond to telemetry monitoring
• Willingness to work night shifts in a high-acuity hospital environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience on a spine or orthopedic unit
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in large acute care facilities
