Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Labor & Delivery
Location
El Paso, Texas
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide surgical technologist support within a Labor and Delivery unit during overnight shifts
- Assist surgical teams with procedures performed in the Labor and Delivery setting
- Maintain sterile field and ensure proper handling of surgical instruments and supplies
- Collaborate with nursing and physician staff to support patient care and safety
- Adhere to all unit guidelines, infection control protocols, and facility policies
Required Qualifications
- Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification/license
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of surgical technologist experience
- No call requirements for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Labor and Delivery or OB surgical environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic clinical situations and function effectively as a team player
