Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 hours/week | Every other weekend | Rotating holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting
- Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective treatment
- Adapt to a dynamic scheduling environment, as block schedules cannot be guaranteed
- Support and navigate an upcoming EHR transition from Meditech to Epic
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Emergency Department RN
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Epic EMR experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience navigating EHR system transitions or go-live implementations
- Familiarity with Meditech in addition to Epic
- Demonstrated adaptability in high-volume, high-acuity emergency settings
