Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend required | Holidays required unless covered by approved time off

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
• Accurately document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes using the Altera Sunrise (formerly Allscripts) EMR system
• Float to other units as required based on staffing and patient census needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, including nicotine-free workplace requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry RN experience
• Must be willing and able to float to other units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR (Altera Sunrise is noted to be very similar; no prior Altera Sunrise experience required)
