CT / Radiology Technologist – Travel Contract

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3-Week Assignment | Start Time: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM | Projected Start: September 21, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT exams under general supervision, following established policies and procedures, utilizing appropriate imaging equipment
- Verify patient identity, review medical records for exam appropriateness, and interview patients to obtain or update medical history while assessing risk factors
- Explain procedures to patients, including side effects of administered pharmaceuticals, risks, benefits, alternatives, and follow-up care
- Review acquired images, make initial observations, document exceptions from established protocols, and communicate findings to the radiologist
- Recognize and respond to medical emergencies as appropriate and provide physician-prescribed post-care instructions to patients
- Participate in process improvement activities including quality of care, patient flow, reject-repeat analysis, and patient satisfaction; may also perform duties of a Radiologic Technologist as needed and provide imaging education to residents and new employees
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification in both CT and Radiology required
- Active Florida Radiology/CT license required
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CT and Radiology experience; must be able to work independently
- Familiarity with GE CT and X-ray equipment required
- Availability for occasional night call shifts (12-hour) and weekend call availability is a plus
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel contract experience in a CT/Radiology role
- Experience working in an acute care or hospital-based imaging environment
- Flexibility to support call coverage including nights and weekends
