Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts | Rotating start times (1900–0730 / 1700–0530) | Monday–Friday | 24 hours of on-call required per 6-week schedule period

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for a diverse surgical patient population including GU, GYN, colorectal, bariatric, minimally invasive, and ENT procedures
• Manage complex postoperative patients involving multiple drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general anesthesia
• Perform pre-operative assessments for first cases during 0530–0730 when PACU census is low
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage dysrhythmias in a Level I Trauma PACU environment
• Float within service line as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in MO or a compact state matching permanent residence (pending MO license accepted at time of submittal)
• Minimum 1 year of PACU or critical care experience; Level I Trauma Center experience strongly considered
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (ACLS must be obtained by compliance deadline)
• Proficiency with ventilator management required
• IV start and telemetry competency required
• Must pass Relias EKG exam; interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center PACU setting
• Familiarity managing vasoactive drips and complex multi-drain postoperative patients
• Experience with IR Pre/Post procedural care
