Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 6:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / PCU / Step-Down setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than a standard medical-surgical floor
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to sister facilities nearby the contracted location as needed
• Adhere to scheduled shifts and holiday commitments, including working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of IMC/PCU/Step-Down experience required
• Must be able to commit to holiday scheduling requirements as outlined
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
• Must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility (location and dates) at time of submission
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a modified rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a travel or contract nursing capacity
• Familiarity with step-down or progressive care protocols and monitoring
• Ability to adapt to varying patient assignments and float between care settings
