Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings, focusing on pediatric patient populations including high-acuity Level 4 care
• Float as needed to additional NICU and pediatric rehabilitation locations within the health system
• Deliver advanced respiratory care and monitoring for critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients
• Maintain compliance with all facility onboarding requirements, including timely completion of fingerprinting, drug screening, and required modules
• Adhere to all scheduling commitments; communicate all requested time off at time of submission and during interview

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• NBRC certification required — active and in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required — active and in hand at time of submission
• Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required, with demonstrated experience in PEDS, PICU, and NICU (Level 4 high-acuity care)
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty — from assignments worked within the past 12 months — required at time of submission
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start date, updated annually
• Locals accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working across multiple NICU environments or pediatric rehabilitation settings
• Familiarity with floating between units and adapting to varied pediatric care environments
• Experience in high-acuity Level 4 NICU care
