Contract | Days | 4x10-hour varying shifts (5:30 AM–4:00 PM, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, or 7:30 AM–6:00 PM) | On-call requirements include 1 call shift per week and 1 call weekend every 3–4 weeks with a 30-minute response time
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor peripheral and vascular cases, as well as right and left heart catheterizations
- Assist with device cases and work in electrophysiology (EP) cases as needed
- Operate and document using systems including XIM, EPIC, Pyxis, Xcelera, and Siemens and Philips fluoroscopy systems
- Participate in the on-call mandate list to fill vacant call shifts not otherwise covered
- Complete orientation focused on monitoring in XIM and demonstrating proficiency in scrubbing and circulating
- Badge in and out at the facility for all shifts
Required Qualifications
- BLS certification required — must be American Heart Association (AHA)
- ACLS certification required — must be American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum of 2–3 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Must live within 80 miles of the facility to be eligible for this placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- RCIS or RCES certification preferred
- Experience scrubbing device cases and working in EP cases
- Familiarity with XIM, Philips, and Siemens fluoroscopy charting and imaging systems
