Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Rotating Shift | Onsite | Rotating every 3 weeks, with expected every third weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in Postpartum, Nursery, and Labor and Delivery settings
- Maintain staffing ratios of 1:1 for Labor and 1:3 for Couplets/Postpartum and Nursery across a 4-bed unit
- Utilize electronic health record and medication dispensing systems including EPIC, Pyxis, and OBIX
- Float to Med-Surg unit as needed
- Adhere to unit protocols with no on-call requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Postpartum/Nursery and Labor and Delivery experience required
- Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, and ACLS
- Must reside within 80 miles of the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Med-Surg float experience preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC, Pyxis, and OBIX platforms
