Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care in a 42-bed Level III NICU with a patient ratio of 3:1
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including incubators, NIPPV, high-flow and low-flow nasal cannula, PIVs, central lines, and gastric tubes
• Document patient care accurately using the Neonatal Notes Manager EMR system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, fellow RNs, and unit coordinators to deliver evidence-based, family-centered care
• Support neonatal procedures performed on the unit, including circumcisions and ROP exams
• Maintain compliance with BLS and NRP certifications throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care NICU experience
• Level III NICU experience required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of overall nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior pediatric nursing experience
• Previous experience with Meditech EMR
• Compassionate, family-centered approach with strong adaptability and attention to detail
