Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | On-call and weekend availability required as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit operating under a team nursing model with support from PCCs and RNs
• Administer IV therapy and manage IV lines; IV Certification is a firm requirement
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 1:7 within a team nursing structure
• Participate in on-call duties and weekend shifts as needed
• Adhere to Level I Trauma Center protocols and standards of care

Required Qualifications

• Active LVN/LPN license in compliance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines; no pending licenses accepted
• IV Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical nursing; candidates with fewer than 3 years of recent experience must have prior travel assignment experience
• At least 1 completed prior travel assignment required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — this policy is strictly enforced

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of recent Medical Surgical experience
• Experience working in a large hospital environment
• EPIC electronic health records experience
