Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg overflow unit, including post-surgical and observation patients
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6/7 within a unit transitioning to a team nursing model
• Participate in on-call duties and weekend shifts as needed
• Collaborate with LPNs and interdisciplinary team members to support unit operations
• Adhere to all facility compliance, floating, and holiday work requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• At least 1 prior completed travel assignment required
• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines — no pending licenses accepted
• Must be willing to work 1–2 end-of-year holidays if they fall within the assignment period
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of Med/Surg experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records
• Comfort floating between like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius
