Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Work within a 181-bed facility, contributing to a high-acuity maternal care environment
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements (6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Adhere to facility float policies, which may include floating to nearby sister facilities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Valid RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Must meet facility background policy standards (no Nursys or background hits accepted)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted at a lower rate)
• All requested time off and scheduling needs must be submitted upfront at time of submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Children's Hospital or high-acuity Labor and Delivery setting
• Familiarity with 1:1 patient ratios in maternal or obstetric care
• Ability to work 48-hour weeks when approved
