Glenview, IL | Inpatient
Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiographic studies including stress echos, strain imaging, and bubble studies in a hospital inpatient setting
- Conduct HOCM evaluations and demonstrate familiarity with structural heart imaging
- Participate in an on-call rotation covering multiple hospital locations, with on-call shifts running 4:00 PM – 7:00 AM on a full-week rotation every 4–6 weeks
- Respond to call-back requests within 1 hour, with a minimum 2-hour call-back guarantee
- Complete weekend call coverage as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a hospital or inpatient echocardiography setting
- Active ARDMS or CCI certification required
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) credential required
- Demonstrated experience with stress echos, strain imaging, bubble studies, and structural heart imaging
- New graduates will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience performing Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs)
- Ability to start an IV (not required, but preferred — please indicate level of experience)
