Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | 48 Hours Guaranteed | Projected Start: December 14, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 23-bed Orthopedic/Trauma unit with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5
• Care for post-operative patients including knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, as well as trauma patients and some neuro overflow
• Utilize unit equipment including traction, fixators, and cooling equipment; document in Meditech
• Conduct bedside shift reports and perform hourly rounding in accordance with patient experience requirements
• Collaborate with Unit Secretaries and PCTs; participate in floating to MedSurg-level units (General MS, Nephrology, Neuro/Trauma) as needed per float policy
• Complete three weekend shifts per schedule period as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Willingness to float to other MedSurg-level units as contract labor per facility float policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Orthopedic nursing experience strongly preferred
• Telemetry (Tele) experience
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or familiarity, helpful given neuro overflow patient population
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or Comprehensive Stroke Center environment
