Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
Location
Owensboro, KY | Cath Lab
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4 days per week, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM | On call 2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend (call back required within 30 minutes)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures under the direction of the supervising physician
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures in a fast-paced cath lab environment
- Maintain readiness for on-call responsibilities, including call-back within 30 minutes
- Ensure proper operation and quality of radiologic and cardiology imaging equipment
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance standards within the department
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification required at time of submission
- Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of cath lab experience
- Valid state license required at time of submission
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification preferred
- Experience in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
