Radiology/Cardiology Tech – IR/Special Procedures

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (shift start time determined upon offer) | On-Call Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of interventional radiology procedures including angiograms, venograms, embolization, nephrostomy, vertebroplasty, biliary tube exchange, IVC filter removal, fistulagrams, transjugular biopsy, IVUS, PICC, and port-a-cath placements
• Operate specialized equipment including EKOS, Inari, Penumbra, and Jeti systems
• Assist with thrombectomy for neuro cases as needed
• Document and chart all patient care activities using EPIC
• Participate in on-call rotations as required
• Float between multiple campuses (Florence, Edgewood, and Fort Thomas) as needed based on staffing and case volume

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of IR Tech experience
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Kentucky license (KBMIRT) required — may be pending at time of submittal
• EPIC experience required
• Active license required at time of submission
• At least 2 supervisory references required
• Local candidates (within 75 miles) are welcome and accepted at a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel experience in IR/Special Procedures highly preferred
• Experience with thrombectomy for neuro cases
• Familiarity with EKOS, Inari, Penumbra, and Jeti equipment
