Contract | Night Shift | 5x8 Hours | 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM, Monday through Friday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and X-rays across a range of procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Conduct X-ray procedures including extremities, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging in both exam room and portable equipment settings
- Work independently during low-volume overnight shifts, managing a daily caseload of up to 20 patients across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
- Operate within inpatient, outpatient, and ER environments, with potential rotation across multiple departments or an affiliated offsite location
- Maintain all required certifications including ARRT R, ARRT CT, NYS License with IV Certification, BLS, and DOHNYS
- Lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment in excess of 150 pounds, with or without assistive devices
Required Qualifications
- Active NYS License with IV Certification — must be in hand at time of submission
- ARRT Certifications in both Radiography (R) and CT — must be in hand at time of submission
- BLS and DOHNYS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- Proficiency performing both CT scans and X-rays across a broad range of procedures
- Experience operating Siemens imaging equipment
- Locals are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Background in outpatient, inpatient, ER, and Adult ICU work settings
- Familiarity with portable imaging procedures
- Comfort working independently in a low-volume, steady-paced specialty imaging environment
