Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Weekends and Holidays Required | No On-Call

Key Responsibilities

• Administer aerosolized medications via oral inhalation, EZPAP, IPPB, and MDI
• Provide chest physiotherapy (CPT), incentive spirometry, and oxygen therapy
• Manage CPAP/BiPAP therapy for appropriate patient populations
• Perform arteriocentesis as part of respiratory care duties
• Document and manage patient care using the Epic electronic health records system; Epic experience within the past 12–18 months is required and must be clearly documented on the candidate's profile
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Active BLS certification required at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification required at time of submission
• Active compact or Tennessee state license required at time of submission
• Epic experience within the past 12–18 months required; candidates must pass the Epic competency exam (one attempt only — failure may result in contract cancellation)
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Familiarity with neuro diagnostics or a related specialty setting
