Cath Lab Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM), 4 Days/Week | On-Site
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with interventional and diagnostic left heart catheterizations and right heart catheterizations with and without biopsy
- Support structural heart cases including TAVR, MitraClip, PFO closure, ASD repair, and Watchman procedures
- Assist with vascular cases including peripheral run-offs, EVARs, and TEVARs
- Participate in on-call coverage, with approximately 4–6 call shifts per 4-week period across primary and secondary call teams
- Fulfill weekend on-call responsibilities, expected approximately one weekend every 4 weeks, subject to unit needs
- Adhere to all facility policies, including nicotine-free workplace requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT (R), RCVT, or RCIS certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Prior Cath Lab experience required; new graduates are not eligible for this position
- Adult coronary experience required
- Ability to participate in on-call and holiday coverage as needed based on unit needs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with a broad range of structural heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, PFO/ASD repair)
- Experience with vascular procedures including peripheral run-offs, EVARs, and TEVARs
- Familiarity with both primary and secondary on-call team structures in a high-volume Cath Lab environment
