Contract | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Room setting, seeing approximately 3,000 patients per month
• Assess, monitor, and treat a diverse patient population including elderly, cardiac, and pediatric patients within a Level II facility
• Perform and interpret EKG readings as part of routine emergency care — a passed EKG test (80% or higher) is required prior to or on the first day of assignment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely, evidence-based emergency interventions
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN License
• CPR certification
• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC or TNS certification
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• Must submit a passed EKG test (80% or higher) with application; EKG test will also be administered on the first day

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic EMR
• Background working with cardiac or elderly patient populations
• Familiarity with Level II Emergency Department environments
• Experience caring for pediatric patients in an emergency setting
