Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Float Pool | Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Med/Surg float pool, rotating across up to 5 Medical/Surgical units as needed
• Float to the Emergency Room as needed based on staffing requirements
• Manage a patient population of adults (18+) with general medical/surgical needs
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1–6 depending on unit assignment
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Maintain flexibility to meet unit scheduling needs; no block schedule is offered

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must be fully flexible to meet the scheduling and staffing needs of the unit; no block scheduling available

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a float pool environment across multiple units
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
• Experience with Emergency Room patient care
