Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit setting
• Monitor and assess hemodynamic status of critically ill cardiovascular patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas or a compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior experience in a CVICU or cardiovascular critical care environment
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and management of cardiac devices
• Familiarity with IABP, LVAD, or other mechanical circulatory support devices
• Previous travel nursing experience
