Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Rotate through all LDRP roles including Labor, Triage, and Postpartum/Mother-Baby care
- Manage Postpartum assignments of 3–4 couplets and Labor assignments of 1–2 patients
- Provide OB surgical recovery care, including post-C-section recovery
- Participate in on-call hours as needed based on staffing, with an expected average of 16–20 on-call hours per 6-week schedule
- Expect to work some holidays and weekends in accordance with facility scheduling requirements
- Float to other units in rotation with facility staff and in accordance with facility floating policies
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of LDRP or Labor and Delivery experience required
- EPIC EMR proficiency required
- Required certifications: NRP, AWHONN, and FHM
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted
- Travelers must separate for a minimum of 90 days after 1 year before being eligible to return; former permanent employees must have been separated for a minimum of 1 year before returning as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills
- OB surgical recovery experience, including C-section recovery, is highly preferred
- Comfort and flexibility rotating across Labor, Triage, and Mother-Baby settings
