Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekends Required (Friday night shift extends into Saturday morning) | Block Schedule Required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform polysomnographic studies and sleep diagnostics within a short-term acute care setting
- Maintain an expected patient ratio of 2:1 throughout assigned shifts
- Utilize Epic for clinical charting and documentation
- Adhere to block scheduling requirements and commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Complete required facility modules prior to start and during orientation as part of onboarding
Required Qualifications
- Valid Oregon Polysomnographer License must be in hand at time of submission — compact license accepted if valid at submission
- Minimum of 1 year of polysomnography experience required
- Must commit to block scheduling and all RTO/scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
- Must be available to work weekends as required by the schedule
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms (locals within 50 miles may be considered at adjusted terms)
- 2 professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in an acute care or hospital-based sleep diagnostics environment
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
- Experience with neuro diagnostics in addition to polysomnography
