Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 29-bed, non-aggregated ICU serving Medical, Surgical, Coronary Care, Neuro, and Trauma patient populations including adults and geriatrics
• Manage high-acuity Neuro and Trauma interventions, multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, and cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
• Perform dysrhythmia interpretation and management in a fast-paced critical care environment
• Operate specialized equipment including IABP, CRRT, EVD, and Arctic Sun/cooling blanket systems
• Document patient care accurately using the Cerner electronic health record system
• Float to IMC or other appropriate critical care areas based on facility needs and within scope of competency

Required Qualifications

• Valid Maryland RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience required
• Neuro ICU and Surgical ICU experience required
• Level II trauma experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
• ATCAR or equivalent trauma education required (candidates may complete a Maryland-approved trauma course to satisfy this requirement)
• Prophecy Relias Advanced EKG assessment required with a passing score before proceeding (must be submitted by the agency)
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Level I trauma center experience preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
