Travel RN – Emergency Room / Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend required | No on-call requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 11-bed freestanding emergency department setting
• Perform full-service emergency department procedures and interventions across a varied patient population
• Operate as an independent, critical-thinking clinician with strong clinical and relational skills to support optimal patient care experiences
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Float to affiliated emergency department locations as needed
• Maintain expected staffing ratios during night shift (2 RNs, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Required Qualifications

• Active Compact RN License required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience in a hospital setting
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS and/or ENPC certification required
• TNCC certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a freestanding emergency department (FSED) environment
• CEN, CPEN, or TCRN certification
• Independent, autonomous, and adaptable personality with strong critical thinking skills
