Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM; Regular Schedule (post-training): Friday–Monday, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM, with occasional scheduled holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination of surgical instruments and equipment, including drills, robotic surgical systems, and scopes
• Carry out sterilization processes using sterrad and steam sterilization methods
• Perform high-level disinfection (HLD) and scope reprocessing
• Manage sterile storage and serve as OR Liaison, responding to OR calls across both floors of surgery
• Utilize instrument tracking systems to maintain accurate documentation and traceability
• Move case carts, separate soiled items, and fill case cart needs for next-day surgical cases

Required Qualifications

• Active CBSPD or CRCST certification (through HSPA, formerly IAHCSMM) required
• Demonstrated experience across all areas of sterile processing, including decontamination, sterilization, HLD, and sterile storage
• Experience with instrument tracking systems (e.g., Censitrac or equivalent)
• Ability to comply with Ohio fingerprinting requirements promptly upon contract signing
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the care site to be eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior OR Liaison experience in a surgical services environment
• Familiarity with robotic surgical system instrument reprocessing
• Experience working in a high-volume or academic medical center setting
