Key Responsibilities

• Administer infusion therapies including chemotherapy and immunotherapy in an outpatient infusion center setting
• Perform peripheral IV insertions, central line care, medication administration, and blood transfusions
• Manage a patient assignment ranging from 1:7 to 1:9 based on treatment length, type, and acuity within a 21-chair infusion unit averaging 46 patients per day
• Operate IV pumps and document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Collaborate as part of a team-oriented environment, adjusting and shifting priorities throughout the day to maintain quality, patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in the state of Maine
• Active ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification is required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience administering chemotherapy and/or immunotherapy in an outpatient infusion setting
• Proficiency in peripheral IV skills, central line care, medication administration, and blood transfusions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Additional experience in a high-volume outpatient infusion environment
• Strong self-initiative with the ability to independently manage workload and adapt to changing patient needs
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to care
