Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/PCU setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, consistent with expectations for staff nurses; travelers may be floated first
• Document patient care and clinical assessments using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in holiday rotation as required by the facility
• Be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant RN experience required
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted
• Previous permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred, though first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
