Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00–17:30); hours may vary as shifts extend until procedures are complete
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub and monitor roles across coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures in a high-volume cath lab environment
- Support a daily caseload of approximately 20–25 cases across 4–5 labs, working alongside 2–3 CVTs per lab
- Participate in on-call rotation, including one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per 7-week cycle, plus a call shift and evening shift each week; call requirements may adjust based on staffing needs
- Provide holiday coverage as needed
- Chart and document using EPIC
- Wear facility-issued scrubs and maintain compliance with radiation safety protocols; a radiation badge must be supplied by the agency — the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- Proficiency in coronary diagnostic and interventional scrub and monitor techniques
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ARRT or RCIS certification required (registered or in process)
- South Carolina SCRQSA license required; candidates with a pending license may be considered with proof of application or confirmation of eligibility for the SC walk-through process — clearance to report will not be granted until the license is active
- Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Preferred Experience / Skills
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Experience with EPIC charting system
- Familiarity with high-volume, multi-lab cath lab environments
