Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Block scheduling may be available but is not expected

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit, including management of ED boarders awaiting inpatient placement
• Perform pre-cardiac catheterization care and manage ports as part of routine patient management
• Float as needed between campuses and to Observation, Medical-Surgical, and MS Telemetry units
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic (experience required)
• Adhere to weekend coverage expectations: 4 weekend shifts (2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays) per 6-week period, along with 3 Mondays and 3 Fridays
• Comply with all facility dress code, compliance, and policy requirements, including no agency or brand logos on scrubs (Navy Blue required)

Required Qualifications

• Active Kentucky RN license or compact license required at time of submission
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1.5 years of Telemetry experience required; experience with pre-cardiac cath and port management required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• COVID vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered); Flu vaccination required
• No RTO available from 12/15/2026 through 1/5/2027; holiday coverage is expected
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at a local rate
• Travel partners are not permitted on this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple units or campuses within a health system
• Familiarity with observation unit workflows and ED boarding protocols
• Strong adaptability and ability to manage varying patient acuity levels across settings
