Contract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Weekend rotation expected | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial evaluations, develop and progress individualized treatment plans for inpatient rehabilitation and acute care patients
- Participate in care planning, team conferences, and discharge planning to support patient-centered outcomes
- Maintain productivity at or above 75% as required by unit standards
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Float to acute care as needed based on rehabilitation census
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary therapy team to ensure quality, compassion-focused care
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of Texas
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience is required; candidates without this experience will not be considered
- Ability to float to acute care settings as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Acute care therapy experience
- Post-acute therapy services background
- Prior experience within HCA-affiliated facilities
