Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel | Night Shift

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | 16-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across the full facility as part of a team of 14–16 RRTs, covering adult acute, adult critical care, pediatric acute care, NICU/PICU, and the Emergency Department
• Manage ventilator-dependent patients using equipment including Drager V500/VN500, Hamilton T1/C1, Respironics V30/V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 1:25 in acute care settings and 1:8 in critical care settings
• Fulfill call requirements, including a 2-hour call obligation for the oncoming shift
• Float across units as required, including NICU/PICU, pediatric acute care, ED, and adult critical care
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required for NICU coverage
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an RRT
• Experience in a tertiary, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center
• Demonstrated competency in adult acute, adult critical care, pediatric acute care, NICU/PICU, and ED settings

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience in NICU/PICU and cardiothoracic settings
• Proficiency with a broad range of ventilator platforms (Drager, Hamilton, Respironics, Trilogy, Airvo, Vapotherm)
• Flexible, team-oriented professional with strong communication skills
