Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 21-bed ICU with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage a patient population that includes adults (18+) presenting with conditions such as ARDS, pneumonia, withdrawal, and cardiogenic shock
• Document and manage patient records using Cerner EMR
• Float to Stepdown and/or Emergency Room as needed to meet unit staffing demands
• Adhere to a flexible scheduling model set by the unit — block schedules are not available; candidates must be flexible to meet the staffing needs of the unit
• Participate in weekend rotations as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license or a Compact RN license — must be on file at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Familiarity with high-acuity diagnoses including ARDS, cardiogenic shock, and alcohol/substance withdrawal
• Experience floating to Stepdown or Emergency Room settings
