Contract | 13 Weeks | Rotating Shifts (Days and Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | 7:00–19:00 / 19:00–7:00 | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting across rotating day and night shifts
• Expected schedule includes 36- or 48-hour weeks depending on unit needs
• Must be available to work 2 out of 3 winter holidays and 3 weekends per six-week schedule
• May be required to float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs and within scope of practice
• Maintain BLS and PALS certifications throughout the duration of the assignment
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient care coordination

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or VA license pending (must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus
• BSN preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a pediatric critical care setting
