Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 54-bed Cardiovascular Telemetry unit, organized across three 18-bed wings
• Care for cardiovascular telemetry patients, including those in an overflow unit setting
• Adhere to a flexible scheduling requirement, including every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights)
• Be available for holiday shifts that may fall within the assignment period
• Float to other units based on facility needs as requested
• Document patient care using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Virginia, or a compact license with proof provided at time of submittal
• BLS certification required – must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification required – must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification required
• Stroke education completion required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Specialty (Telemetry) experience within the last year required
• One supervisory professional reference required for submission
• Social Security Number required at time of submittal
• Candidates must be available for a manager interview; please be prepared
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a cardiovascular telemetry setting
• Familiarity with overflow unit workflows in an acute care environment
• Flexibility with scheduling and minimal time-off requests during the assignment period
