Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00) | Weekends Required (Friday night shift extends into Saturday morning) | Block Schedule Required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform polysomnography and neuro-diagnostic studies in an acute care setting
- Maintain a patient ratio of 2:1 throughout assigned shifts
- Document and chart patient data accurately using Epic EMR
- Adhere to facility protocols, compliance requirements, and scheduled block assignments
- Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Required Qualifications
- Oregon State Polysomnography License required — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of polysomnography experience required
- Compact license, if applicable, must be in hand at submission
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard traveler terms (locals may be considered at an adjusted rate)
- Must be willing to float to nearby sister facilities if required by the assignment
- Background must be clear of Nursys or background check hits per facility policy
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic EMR charting system
- Prior travel or contract assignment experience in an acute care environment
- Familiarity with Oregon State licensing requirements and processes
