Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 or 48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 27-bed General Medicine unit serving a variety of disease processes across Respiratory, Endocrine, Cardiac, Immune/Infectious Disease, and Renal systems
• Rotate every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Work 2 out of 3 winter holidays as required by unit scheduling
• Float within scope of practice as needed in accordance with facility float policy
• Document and manage patient care using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• References required
• Must adhere to facility float policy
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals are not accepted for this unit)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred but not required
• BSN preferred
• Experience caring for patients with Respiratory, Endocrine, Cardiac, Infectious Disease, and/or Renal conditions
