Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within an Oncology Pod Emergency Department setting, with a patient ratio of 1:4
• Float between units as required by the facility
• Perform proficient IV starts and manage patient access needs
• Monitor patients using telemetry equipment and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience
• EPIC experience required
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
• Valid compact or Ohio state RN license in hand at time of submission
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references)
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience preferred but not required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring in a high-acuity environment
