Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 48 hours/week | 75% weekend commitment expected | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Float to multiple ICU units including Medical ICU, Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, and Cardiac/CTICU based on experience and unit need
• Float to Intermediate Care (IMC) units as needed, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:3
• Provide direct patient care for standard ICU patients including sedated, intubated, and patients on pressors; high-complexity cases such as CRRT are not expected
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2 in ICU settings
• Demonstrate flexibility with assignments, including the potential for multiple different unit assignments within a single shift
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Maine or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Willingness and ability to float to multiple ICU and IMC units as assigned
• Strong team communication skills and commitment to outstanding patient care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple ICU specialties (Medical, Neuro, Surgical/Trauma, Cardiac)
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
• Demonstrated adaptability and comfort working in a float pool or multi-unit environment
