Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every other weekend required | No on-call requirement | Projected Start: October 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process — assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation — for assigned patients on a basic Medical/Surgical unit
• Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and thoroughly
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identify issues and connect to appropriate resources
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed to manage clinical situations effectively

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment or a valid compact RN license
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency or ability to work within Epic EMR
• Must adhere to facility dress code: ceil blue scrubs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience with nurse-to-patient ratios of 5:1 or 6:1 in a Med/Surg setting
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex patient assignments and delegate effectively to care team members
