Contract | 12 Weeks | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4–5
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
• Care for patients with diagnoses including neurosurgery, urology, orthopedics, surgical overflow, and telemetry/med-surg conditions in a unit with an average length of stay of 3–4 days
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Float to alternate facilities as needed
• Participate in orientation as scheduled; orientation is non-billable (approximately 16 hours)

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN License
• Current CPR certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of RN experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Passed EKG test with a score of 80% or higher required at time of submittal
• New graduates are not eligible for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with neurosurgery, urology, orthopedic, or surgical overflow patient populations
• Comfort with floating to multiple facility locations
