Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Float across multiple ICU settings including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac/Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine, and COVID units
• Provide direct patient care in ICU settings at a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float to inpatient floors (Oncology, Neurology, Med Surg, Medicine, Trauma, Heart and Vascular, COVID) when ICU census is low, with a ratio of no more than 1:3
• May be utilized as a patient sitter when needed based on unit census
• Adhere to every-other-weekend requirement (or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule) plus holiday rotation
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience; 1 year of CV ICU experience required
• Active RN license — Missouri license (or compact license matching permanent residence) required; Illinois license must be in hand at time of submittal if applicable
• BCLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Proficiency with ventilators, IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation required
• Must not be a first-time traveler
• Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac skill set including Swans/hemodynamic interpretation, IABP, Impella, ECMO, vasoactive drips, and CRRT
• Experience with triage, ICP monitoring, PA lines, and Level 1 Trauma
• Certifications such as CCRN, ONS, TNCC, CPI, or Chemo preferred
• Prior EPIC experience strongly preferred
