Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple units including ICU, ED, and Medical/Surgical floors
• Support NICU coverage for candidates with applicable experience
• Work within a Level II Trauma Center environment alongside a team of 7–10 Respiratory Therapists depending on census
• Document patient care and clinical information using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to other units as needed based on facility census and staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRT accepted
• BLS and ACLS certifications required — must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Active Virginia state license or proof of a compact license required at time of submittal
• EPIC charting experience required
• Specialty experience within the last year is required
• One supervisory reference required at time of submittal
• Locals are welcome and will be considered at the same base rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification (AHA) preferred
• NRP certification preferred for candidates with NICU experience
• Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center or multi-ICU environment
• Experience covering NICU in addition to adult acute care units
