Part-Time | Permanent | Onsite | Nights – Two 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care using a professional nursing practice model throughout the Labor & Delivery unit
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, identify health issues, and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to care interventions and adjust plans accordingly
• Educate and support patients and families, and implement measures to prevent complications
• Coordinate safe patient transport and transitions of care as needed
• Delegate tasks appropriately in accordance with the Texas Nursing Practice Act and team competencies

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (or compact eligibility)
• BLS certification required (must obtain within 30 days of hire if not currently held)
• Minimum of 1.5 years (18 months) of Labor & Delivery and/or Antepartum RN experience
• Candidates relocating from 50 or more miles away may be eligible for relocation assistance

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level II or higher Labor & Delivery setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with high-acuity obstetric patient populations and associated clinical protocols
