Contract | Full-Time | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM | On-call required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a cardiac cath lab environment supporting EP, cath, and structural case types across 3 active procedure rooms
- Assist with EP procedures including ablations, EP studies, device implantation (pacemakers, ICDs), lead extractions, and cardioversions
- Support cath procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, transvenous pacing, Impella insertion/removal, and peripheral cases
- Participate in structural procedures such as Watchman implants, valve procedures, PFO closures, and ECMO
- Perform unit-specific procedures including venipuncture; document care using EPIC
- Fulfill on-call obligations, which may include up to approximately 7 call shifts per month (one Friday–Sunday weekend and approximately four weeknight shifts); weeknight call hours are 5:00 PM–6:30 AM, weekend call is 5:00 PM Friday through 6:30 AM Monday
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in cardiac cath lab or related specialty
- Demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic and interventional heart catheterization
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in EP (electrophysiology) procedures
- Experience in structural heart procedures
- Familiarity with EPIC documentation system
