Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Complete required ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation with an acceptable passing score
• Maintain compliance with annual hands-on competency requirements and facility-assigned modules

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or active Compact State license — must be in hand at time of submission
• AHA BLS certification — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• AHA ACLS certification — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• No open background or license hits; all background findings are subject to facility review
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience within a single Med/Surg Telemetry location preferred, though combined experience across locations may be considered
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation in an acute care setting
• Strong ability to adapt quickly to facility-specific systems, workflows, and compliance requirements
